End of Times Finances: A workshop for babes aiming to feel secure with their relationship to money

This knowledge share is about 2.5hrs pre-recorded zoom class and it is intended for those people interested on re-learning and creating a better relationaship to money. I will email you the link to this e-class so please give me a couple of days to get to it!

I often think about the current moment we are in and the question I’m sure we all have: 'Why should I worry about saving, budgeting, or investing in the future when there is literally no future? Should I just blow my money because I can’t see a tomorrow?' Those are very real thoughts—what future are we heading into? Why should I care about money when my heart breaks every day for people being martyred by my tax dollars on the other side of the world? I’m with you on this. But perhaps this is the best time to figure out how we want to live as we wait for the empire to crumble and for the new worlds we will (re)build. Like it or not, we are in a system where money is the currency, so let’s figure out how to work with it to make the present as bearable and enjoyable as possible. This way, you have that extra rainy day fund if you want to taxidermy your puppy, or you can save up for clothes that make you feel gender-affirmed. You could take a trip to see your best friend without it impacting your livelihood, or leave a legacy fund to support a couple of abortions, some gender-affirming surgeries, and a community-run weaving co-op in Peru (this is my afterlife financial goal!). It all starts with understanding your relationship with money.

This workshop is not a 'get rich' workshop. It also doesn’t offer a 'quick fix' to financial stability, or give tell you how to get out of debt. This workshop aims to provide you with frameworks to help you do the work to reach your financial goals by understanding your relationship with money. This is not a workshop that will cover every single aspect of money and capitalism— it is a space for all you bleeding-heart babes out there who can’t make sense of money but want to because, after all, caring about our finances is also self/community care!

🫀Money Is Not Real, but My Money Feelings Are! Learning how the feelings we have around money guide our decisions. How can we restructure our relationship with money so that it works for us and not against us?
🫀Spending, Budgeting, and Planning for a Worthwhile Existence: Creating a money philosophy that serves as a framework for how we move our money.
🫀I Want Out of the Curse of Capitalism: Learning about alternatives to capitalism and money exchange. As we wait for the empire to crumble, how can we create different ways of trade and exchange outside of money and capitalism? This is where we get to dream of futures that work for all of us!
